The Highball is a hinged style mat with a great landing area, durable Cordura on the base, Cordura on the top and plastic on the closure flaps. This gives bomb proof protection for the foam and the mat will survive being dragged around the roughest terrain.

The heart of any mat is its foam and DMM use quality foams to ensure that the Highball will give you a cushioned landing time after time. The mat uses a thick layer of open cell foam sandwiched between two high density foam layers. This gives a good even distribution even when from falling on un-even or rocky ground.

The harness system can either be used rucksack style or over the shoulder, whilst the grab handles allow the mat to be dragged around easily - or pegged down in windy conditions. Rounded corners to reduce wear, un-breakable metal buckles and a removable carpet are the little things that all add up to make this one of the best mats on the market.

Joe was super helpful and my bike survived the trip to and from Mallorca without any problem. The box is old and basic, so you needs a fair bit of time to workout how to pack it. The catches don't lock and a couple were open by the time it got back to Bristol. But this is all reflected in the good price.
