Perfect for mounting as a top mic, or using with a boompole. This directional mic will pick up considerably less ambient sound than onboard mics, helping you to record just the sound you want to record. The Rode NTG-2 is a lightweight condenser shotgun microphone, designed for professional applications within the film, video, television and production industries. The NTG-2 provides a balanced low impedance output stage and operates either from an internal 1.5v AA battery or 48v phantom power.

Kit includes a receiver, transmitter and broadcast-grade lavalier microphone. 

2.4GHz digital transmission with 128-bit encryption, range of up to 100 metres.

The unit can be mounted on a standard camera shoe mount, 3/8″ thread or belt-clip.

The lightweight transmitter (TX-BELT) can be fitted to a belt or clothing and features a locking thread to ensure the microphone connection is as secure as possible.

The theremin is an electronic musical instrument played by the free movement of the performer's hands in the space surrounding it. This method of playing gives the theremin tone its unique ethereal and dramatic quality, while at the same time allowing the performer a measure of artistic freedom that other musical instruments do not offer. The techniques of
playing the theremin can be mastered by anyone who has a good musical ear, and who is willing to invest a modest amount of practising time. Two motions are involved.
The movement of the right hand toward the pitch antenna controls pitch, while the movement of the left hand toward the volume antenna controls loudness or volume.
