The camera is an Olympus C-5060W with a 4X zoom. It is hardly the newest model, but these cameras are known for the superior quality of the lenses and at 2mb you get a far sharper image than I have seen from 10mb beginner DSLR's. 
The case is a PT-020 Olympus made underwater housing made just for the C-5060. It has been lubed every season and very well cared for. Controls are easily accessible and intuitive.
