The Canon XF305 is a file-based 3CMOS camera capturing 4:2:2 50Mbps HD video (Long-GOP MPEG2, MXF wrapper). It is approved by the BBC for HD acquisition and HD broadcast productions.

We love this camera! Great build quality, great lens, the batteries last for hours and it shoots to Compact Flash. It also has two CF slots for up to 2 hours constant recording (2 x 32GB CF cards).

It has an amazing L-Series 18x wide-angle Canon lens, HD-SDI, timecode, genlock, very high resolution LCD monitor (1.55M dots) and beautiful EVF.

This camera can shoot at variable frame rates from 12 to 50fps. It has 3 x 1/3″ full HD CMOS sensors and creates the best image we have ever seen from a 3 x 1/3″ camera, amazing!

Download the MXF Importer from Canon and it will transcode your footage to ProRes, Avid, etc. You can import natively without transcoding to Premiere Pro

The Glensound GSGC5/A is an outside broadcast mixer ideally suited to news gathering or sporting events. Using digital bandwidth compression techniques it provides 7.5kHz bandwidth circuits between the studio and the outside broadcast site using a single ISDN2 channel. It is supplied with an APTX codec.

This unit can be used as a stand alone mixer too.
