The software reads ATEM Minis as an ordinary webcam, although it is actually a live production mixer. This ensures complete compatibility with any video software in full 1080HD resolution. Use your favourite software such as Zoom, Microsoft Teams or Skype to create professional multicam style presentations! 
The ATEM Minis webcam output is also compatible with streaming software such as Open Broadcaster, XSplit Broadcaster and more. Use the mobile data from 5G or 4G mobile phones. 

For live production on location, the ATEM Mini Extreme models support mobile data connections with Apple or Android phones via the USB port. At the same time, this is a great backup option for the main Ethernet connection. The tethering works with the latest mobile phones for 5G speed as well as other popular 4G phones. The ATEM mixer automatically detects a connected mobile phone and accesses its internet connection. This saves you from changing settings. Stream live via Ethernet with ATEM Mini Pros. The ATEM Mini ATEM Mini Extreme models feature an integrated hardware streaming engine for live streaming via their Ethernet port. So you can stream live and better quality without dropped frames to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch. The settings are also simpler. Simply select the streaming service provider and enter your stream key! Alternatively, you can see the streaming setup via the menu palettes in ATEM software control. Streaming status is also displayed in the multiviewer. You can see it immediately, because the data rate display indicates the internet speed required for the video format. If you are technician, you can even update the streaming profiles in the XML setting file to load new services. Record directly to USB drives with the ATEM Mini Extreme The ATEM Mini Extreme models also support direct recording of your streaming data to USB flash memory. So you can achieve very long recording times for your streams in the same H.264 video files with AAC audio. You can instantly upload the files to any video platforms such as YouTube or Vimeo. Support for recording on multiple drives is provided via a USB hub or a Blackmagic MultiDock. Once one drive is full, access the next for uninterrupted recording. The settings for the recording and selection of the disc are carried out in ATEM Software Control. The integrated multiviewer provides a display for the recording status. You can even trigger the recording on connected Blackmagic Pocket Cinema cameras. Create stunning virtual sets The ATEM Mini Extreme models offer four upstream chrome eyers, allowing you to build exciting virtual sets. With four independent chrome keys, you have one for each camera and can therefore build a virtual set for up to four cameras. With the ATEM Mini Extreme you have eight inputs available: e.g. four for the cameras and four more for connecting computers to render backgrounds for the virtual set. If you don't want to move your cameras, you can create virtual sets even with fixed cameras by loading previously rendered still image backgrounds from the media players and the media pool. Macros allow you to switch cameras and load the matching backgrounds into the media player. Alternatively, you can even use a DeckLink Quad HDMI and live software for virtual sets. Powerful workmanship via SuperSource In addition to the two independent DVE processors installed in the ATEM Mini Extreme models, there is the powerful SuperSource multilayer processor. It offers you four more DVE levels as well as a background level that all are displayed on the ATEM Mini Extreme as additional input sources. For SuperSoure-DVE, any video input of the ATEM Mini Extreme can be used. Through a custom background in the media pool, all levels are then joined together. If you set up the effect before the live operation, both main DVE are still available for other tasks. Therefore, SuperSource is ideal for image-in-picture displays when interviewed with multiple people. With SuperSource you almost have an additional integrated multi-layer enabled VFX mixer. Real mix effect mixing like broadcasting ATEM Minis are factory set to cut bus mode. You can also set it to the mix effect operating mode, as large broadcasters use it primarily for their live production mixers. Mixing in cut bus mode is easy. Selecting any input causes immediate switching to this source. If you want to operate your ATEM Mini like a real professional, put it into mix/effect mode via ATEM Software Control. The operation in mix effect mode allows you to select a source but only by pressing the "Cut" or "Auto" button. With this two-stage program/preview process, fewer patzers happen. In addition, the program / preview operation is ideal for preparing trainees for a career on radio.

This works perfectly without the need for any drivers, I have tested this all the way up to Full HD 1080p at 60 FPS.
It clocked more like 58FPS but this is still absolutely fine. With the correct settings in your capture software, it does output a true 60FPS and not just a 30FPS faked into 60 like i've seen some do.

The latency is very good, very few frames between the camera and the image I get on my software so this works for live events. You may only need a very small adjustment in audio if you want perfect sync with cameras.

This appears on a PC as a USB audio input and is a true stereo signal, I am able to separate both audio inputs from my camera via the HDMI audio which is good.

The headphone socket outputs all HDMI audio so it works like a de-embedder, this is great if you need your camera audio into an external mixer via the headphone socket or need to monitor it.

The Microphone socket embeds its audio into the same USB audio channels that the HDMI audio uses, so you can use these together but you won't get individual level control on your PC. Note, the Microphone socket does not embed it's audio into the HDMI Output.

As for video, this seems to accept any standard format all the way up to 4K60. It will accept Interlaced signals as well as progressive, but I notice a lot more compression on interlaced signals so would recommend progressive where possible.
