The Schoeps MK41 is part of the Colette series of modular capsules designed for use with the CMC6 preamplifier. Sound arriving from off-axis is attenuated even more than with a standard cardioid. The pickup is “drier” and less susceptible to acoustic feedback, provided there isn’t a strong sound source directly on the rear axis of the microphone. Its directivity is highly independent of frequency, so that even sounds arriving off axis and reverberant sound are registered without colouration. Consequently, even distant placement of the microphone produces a very natural sound pickup.

For hire is a tungsten three lamp ￼fresnel lighting kit. Each lamp has a 650W bulb, set of barn doors, and a lens. The lamps are made by the company Strand and the Quartet F model. Each lamp has been serviced and has been fitted with a standard lighting spigot receiver.￼

For hire is a recently serviced two lamp ETC kit. Each lamp is a ETC Source 4 mini with a 575w bulb. Each lamp is terminated at 15amps Burt 13 amp adapters are included. Alternatively both lamps can we ran from the included dimmer board which terminates in 13 amp. ￼

These lamps are unique because they have the ability to flag and cut the light cleanly using internal shutters and have a focusable lens. Two of these lamps can be easily powered on any domestic supply.

The lamps can be ran into the dimmer￼ board for complete control or powered individually via the 15 to 30 number adapters. 

For extra stability these lamps have a junior pin spigot connected to the yolk and gone with either two lightweight or heavyweight combo stands.
