is quick and the image stabilization a great add for nature photography. Good Lens for the Money Paid Purchased this lens as my daily use lens as I had two kit lenses that came with the Canon M50 and didn't want to keep swapping back and forth. Took the 18-150mm lens on vacation and shot over 1600 pictures with it and the images were very good. I didn't see distortion or vignetting at either ends of the zoom range and the color was very good. I also shot images with the 15 - 45mm kit lens for comparison and didn't notice any quality differences. I'm not a professional photographer, but I do like taking a lot of pictures and playing around with the programmable settings on the Canon M50. With the higher F stops, I increased the light setting in Programmable Mode to help off set low light situations and it worked out for my shooting needs and the pictures came out better
