This is a authentic African hand carved wooden bongo, it has giraffes and elephants carved into the bottom. It is mahogany colour with black on it I think it's made of bamboo and the drum top is goats skin. It's very well made and in very good condition, however, it does have a couple of small tears on the animal skin at the top (see pic). Height 25 inch Diameter across of drum top 15 inch Width around the drum 46 inch Width at the bottom 30 inch Weight 5.6 kg It's not only a great musical instrument it is a lovely decorative addition to any room.
