This is a great little handheld that will give you studio sound! Not necessarily meant to be held, but describes the style of mic. Comes with the clip and carrying case. Can include stand and cable for longer rentals. 

Now for the marketing speak:

The KMS 104 features all the same capabilities that have made the KMS 105 so successful for Neumann, however, offers the choice of a cardioid polar pattern.

The exquisite design includes an elastic shock mounted cardioid capsule with a foam-lined grille, providing a robust method of getting rid of those frustrating plosives. Not only is it a luxurious looking mic, but it's also very lightweight making it a pleasure to use in a live performance.

When compared to other handheld vocal microphones, the KMS 104 offers a superior resolution of the voice, with extended frequency response and accurate transient detail. Sibilance problems common to other handheld condenser mics are eliminated.

The frequency response characteristic is developed in the acoustic realm, allowing for accurate representation of transient details found in music and speech, and thus transmitting a very "open" and detailed capture of the human voice. The frequency response and in-built highpass filters have been optimized for very close miking. They compensate the proximity effect, resulting in an even sound reproduction.

The KMS 104 is provided with a capsule with cardioid characteristics, yielding the best rear sound rejection.

Cardioid studio microphone delivers warm and smooth audio reproduction in close-proximity studio and vocal applications. Especially great with the Cloudlifter, which I also have listed.

Great for radio or podcast productions, or any voiceover where a clean and smooth sound is needed.


The SM-7B is one of the best dynamic microphones, great for vocals, voiceovers, podcasts and instrument recording. The Cloudlifter adds clean gain and makes the mic come alive with lower noise than most built in interface preamps.  See my individual listings for each item for more info on both.
