Great hazer, works well (don't get the chance to use it very often), and weighs a lot less than some of the other options like the Reel EFX DF-50. Also includes a remote control for interval hazing, which will keep a space filled at a consistent level.

Unlike most gimbals such as the Ronin or Movi, the Helix Jr is designed with the handles at the same height as the camera, so it's much less straining on the arms and allows you to shoot for longer without getting exhausted. It works great with cameras like the A7s, GH5 and Blackmagic Pocket Camera. Helix batteries power the gimbal and focus motor. They can also power the monitor and camera if you have p-tap adapters, but of course this will eat up the Helix batteries faster.

This rig makes it easy to move from tripod to handheld in seconds with an integrated VCT plate. It can also supply power to all your p-tap accessories, including your camera if we have the cable for it (ask us!) . Lastly it makes for steady focusing with a Nucleus Nano wireless focus system, letting the operator change focus from the handgrip (or an AC can use the included handwheel).
