This wonderful beast of a camera has a mechanical shutter, 16-bit raw, up to 120 FPS, beautiful skin tones and wonderful sharpness. Such an amazing camera.

I think it feels closer to film than the alexa in color fidelity and motion. It works extremely well in difficult lighting conditions and anamorphic on it has a beautiful look.

The mechanical shutter is amazing.

The camera is heavy, but it has everything in it - power options, the whole works. In the end it's about the same size as an alexa mini tricked out, just fatter.


Will rent out along with camera tech who has tons of experience with the camera and can 2nd ac as well. I can also rent without a camera tech.


Loading footage from it is easy, using the USB 3.0 card reader for it. I have the drivers - works on Mac OS X Sierra. Connect and transfer.

This is the Chinese version of the easyrig with serene arm - it can fly rigs from 6 to 22 lbs.


I have flown the alexa mini on it on a ronin 2, and it worked great.


It is surprisingly good. I have not ever lost confidence in its ability to hold onto the rig. The serene arm works well.


Of course, even the Sweedish easyrig can have issues - and always have a hand on the camera. At the end of the day, even the Sweedish rig is just literally a piece of rope holding the camera and that can even just snap, so always be careful.


You can come over and test it out with your rig to make sure it works okay.
