BETTER COMPONENTS Since the capsule and transformer represent 90% of the microphone's tone, we decided to take extra care and use the best components available. After auditioning all combinations of capsules and transformers, we found we could get the closest to the sound of the original 47-Fet, with the Swiss-made Maiku K47 and the US-made Cinemag CM-13101 transformer. The very high sound quality of both these components, along with premium polystyrene and tantalum capacitors, make this microphone ideal for percussion, kick drums, bass and vocals. Like the original, the Stam 47F can capture powerful sounds with fidelity, and no distortion.
