A handheld recording device. Have used it for interviews, recording rehearsals etc.

I can try to find you the microphone attachment if you want it but it works well and is less hassle without it, and I've never had to use it.

I can also provide a cable to connect it to your computer to upload files, or I can do this for you and email them to you.

I purchased this item to interview and dictate notes for my PhD.  I found it very easy to use and reliable.  The Olympus DM-670 Digital Voice Recorder was my primary recorder.  It has 8GB internal memory plus micro SD(HC) slot and a multifunction case.  It looks professional, and the recording is outstanding.  During my research, I interviewed people at festivals - the noise-cancelling function didn't disappoint me.  


I purchased this item to interview and dictate notes for my PhD.  I found it very easy to use and reliable.  The Olympus DS-40 Digital Voice Recorder features a removable stereo microphone styled to match the design of the recorder.  The 512 MB of onboard memory can record 9 hours of audio at the highest quality and up to 136 hours at the lowest.  During my research, I interviewed people at festivals - the noise-cancelling function didn't disappoint me. 

Marantz audio recorder 661. Keep in mind, in order to listen to the audio recorded, you'll need headphones with a larger than normal jack. Requires four AA batteries at a time.
