do.This is a 4 capsule microphone capable of recording 360-degree audio anywhere in the world. The supplied Rycote accessories mean that you are able to record in high-wind environments - this microphone can do it all! It is important to mention that this microphone outputs A-format Ambisonics, a 4 channel format of audio that requires further decoding in order to be applied effectively in post production. You will also require a 4ch. recorder capable of supplying 48V phantom power to all 4 of the Ambeo's XLR connectors. Without wishing to insult anyone here (sorry if you already know exactly what this mic can do!) I am more than happy to offer advice or demonstrations on how to record + produce 360-degree audio prior to you renting this out. If you've ever contemplated giving one of these a go, I strongly recommend it. Not only for the fact that it's an Ambisonics mic - the thing just sounds plain fantastic!
