If you're after a shotgun mic, you may as well use the industry standard! The 416 has proved itself a robust workhorse for decades, and it performs flawlessly in outdoor sound recording applications, from spot effects and wildtrack to dialogue.  

The Rycote kit supplied means that you'll be able to record in high wind scenarios with a greatly reduced level of wind noise. 

Important to note that this is the modern +48V phantom power model, not the older T-powered one. 

Condition is good overall, though there are some wear marks to the top of the barrel and around the XLR connector, as well as one scratch beneath the logos.

The Zoom H5 is an excellent pocket-sized field recorder. Superior to the H4 due to its uprated pre-amps (which honestly sound a LOT better/less noisy than the H4) and rugged construction, it's an ideal tool for recording any sort of audio you may want to.

The Rycote accessory pack is a great addition as it allows you to use the XY stereo capsule in high-wind environments, with a greatly reduced amount of wind noise. The Lyre mount/grip system also nearly eliminates handling noise, something that is a big problem with handheld recorders.

Condition is generally excellent on the accessories, but the recorder has some slight signs of wear. Particularly, a couple of scratches on the screen (shown). This thing is an absolute weapon and I bring it everywhere with me!

The Sennheiser Ambeo is arguably the world's first Ambisonics microphone aimed at location recording, as it is able to run off +48V phantom power and does not require a powered decoder box, as Soundfield microphones do.This is a 4 capsule microphone capable of recording 360-degree audio anywhere in the world. 

The supplied Rycote accessories mean that you are able to record in high-wind environments - this microphone can do it all! It is important to mention that this microphone outputs A-format Ambisonics, a 4 channel format of audio that requires further decoding in order to be applied effectively in post production. You will also require a 4ch. recorder capable of supplying 48V phantom power to all 4 of the Ambeo's XLR connectors. 

Without wishing to insult anyone here (sorry if you already know exactly what this mic can do!) I am more than happy to offer advice or demonstrations on how to record + produce 360-degree audio prior to you renting this out. If you've ever contemplated giving one of these a go, I strongly recommend it. Not only for the fact that it's an Ambisonics mic - the thing just sounds plain fantastic! 

Condition is absolutely pristine - the mic has been hard-cased since new and has been exceptionally well cared for.

K-Tek Airo 4-section boom pole with foam padded grips.

One of the more comfortable cheap boom poles I have used! Easy to operate, nice action on all of the sections, and the knobs to release each section are big and chunky so are easy to adjust quickly. 

Aluminium construction makes it reasonably lightweight, though not as much as a carbon fibre pole.

Collapsed length    - 98cm (3'2.5")
Weight                      - 735g (1.6lbs)

Condition is fair - the foam grips are in good condition (though taped at the bottom to prevent splitting) and the pole itself is lightly scratched.
