Brand new with an exceptional finish Lowena has everything you need to make your holiday one to remember, with a separate shower and toilet, 3 burner hob, microwave, toaster and fridge freezer on board. For sleeping the vehicle has a permanent double overcab bed, two adult size bunks in the rear and the kitchen area converts to a double and single beds. The large garage area comfortably houses bikes if required. The van comes with full safety equipment, outdoor camp chairs, TV/DVD combi, cooking equipment, bbq tools, plates, cutlery and glasses for 6, even the all important bottle opener is there to ensure there's no delay in starting the holiday!

As well as the motorhome itself we have a wide range of extras available, including an awning, windbreaks, surfboards and even a Cornish hamper full of local goodies to stock the fridge and cupboards with. The van is dog-friendly for a charge of £25 per dog per week.

Once booked via Fat Lama we'll contact you to collect the required documents for our insurers and to answer any questions regarding your hire. On the day of rental we'll meet you at our dedicated base and provide a comprehensive handover during this we run through everything in the van, check for any damage and collect the damage deposit and card details. 

Whilst on hire we're available 24hrs a day via the phone and the vehicle is also covered by European wide roadside assistance. We can also arrange complimentary collection from local train stations, airports or even deliver to your door anywhere in the UK for a competitive rate.

Lamorna is a stunning Burnster Ixeo vehicle with the full range of available extras and finished to an executive standard.
The vehicle has a double bed that stores in the roof space and automatically lowers down when required, this means the bed can be left made up without taking up any space.
The kitchen area has an oven, 3 burner hob, microwave and a full sized fridge/freezer. As you'd expect all plates, cutlery and cooking utensils are also included.
The rear of the vehicle has a large shower space and toilet.
In addition to this the motorhome has on-board satellite TV, unlimited mobile WiFi, BBQ and external furniture and a fully integrated entertainment and SatNav system in the drivers cab. 
All bookings with Kernow Kampers include insurance for one driver, unlimited UK mileage, gas and VAT.
Our prices vary through the year, please note that our £200 nightly rate is for peak season, off season is as low as £500 a week.

We have just recently purchased our first van for hire throughout this gorgeous county of Cornwall. We wanted to discover Cornwall’s little gems and didn’t want to do just days out.

When you’re not taking her for a spin around Cornwall and we’re not doing the normal 9 till 5, this is what we intend to do.

She comes well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay in her, however unfortunately she cannot provide bedding or towels. We are based in the lovely town of Penryn just 2 miles from Falmouth, so she already knows of all the beautiful beaches around the town and could probably drive you there herself. Drivers need to be between the age of 25 and 70 years old.

Security Deposit
A £500 security deposit is required before your camper hire and will be held over the duration of the hire period. This deposit will be refunded in full within 5 working days of the vehicle being returned on time, undamaged, with a clean interior, a full tank of fuel and with all equipment in place and intact.

If there is any damage to the van including loss of any equipment, tyre damage, low fuel etc. we reserve the right to use the security deposit as funding towards amending this. The remainder of this security deposit will be returned to the hirer once the damage/loss has been paid for.

Fuel Policy
All vehicles are supplied with a full tank of fuel at the start of the hire. Customers must return the vehicle full at the end of the rental. If you return the vehicle part full you will be charged for missing fuel at the end of the rental at the locally determined price along with a collection of fuel fee of £15.

For hire we have Louis, our Fiat Ducato five berth Motorhome. A pleasure to drive and a delightful space providing a home from home experience.

The cab has central locking, electric windows, privacy curtains, swiveling seats and you can see all the way through to the rear window using the mirror.

Sleeping:
There is a large double over cab bed accessed via a metal ladder and has a window, reading lights for night time plus privacy curtains. There are two rear fixed bunk beds, the bottom bunk will raise if required revealing a large storage area that acts like a garage with two large access doors either side of the van. Privacy curtains for night time.

Dining:
The dining area has two forward facing seats with seat belts, a side seat and a large sliding dining table. The two front seats swivel to face the dining table. This can convert to a single bed. Comes with TV and DVD player.

Kitchen:
There is a fully equipped kitchen with stainless steel round sink, a three gas burner hob, gas oven/grill, three way powered fridge with freezer compartment, cutlery/crockery, pots and pans. Storage compartments and wardrobe to the left of the kitchen. 

Bathroom:
The bathroom has a large shower tray with shower curtain and handset, mirror, a built-in washbasin plus a swiveling toilet.

Outside:
Access to the internal garage. There is a bike rack for up to 4 bikes and an awning...ideal for those summer bbqs!

We can supply bedding and towels, this is available for £25.00 per hire. We also can provide camping chairs and tables, these are offered free of charge, please let us know if you would like these and we will pop them in the motorhome garage before the start of your rental.

Deposit:
A deposit of £500 is taken from the driver’s payment card and held throughout the duration of the hire. The deposit is refundable provided the motorhome is returned in the same condition and with the same amount of fuel. The time scale for the funds to be available on your card will vary depending on your bank/card provider but is generally 3-5 days.

Rental Rules:
The hirer will need a valid driving license held for at least 2 years
- The hirer will need to between 23-75 years old
- The hirer must not have any more than 2 minor motoring convictions in the last 5 years
- The hirer must not have more than 1 fault accident in the last 3 years

Olive has recently undergone an extensive restoration and is finished in a beautiful pea green colour, making her a quite unique VW camper. 
Olive comes with a 2 ring gas stove and a fridge which runs like a cool box and it has a sink and water tank.
Olive is an original 1973 Westfalia Continental Volkswagen Camper Van. Her interior is in outstanding condition and fully functioning, just as it’s creators intended back in the 70s, which is still a great layout to this day. It also allows a full width bed downstairs.  There’s also a full pop top for standing room and to provide a comfy bed for a couple of smaller children up to around 11 years old or so. 
There are also some modern improvements on board, including a leisure battery, a 600w invertor, 240v mains hookup, and a modern Sony stereo with bluetooth, USB, line-in and hands-free calling. There are two, three-point seat-belts in the rear, which can also accept child car seats if needed. Also installed is a phone holder on the dash.

Blossom is our beloved orange 1970s Right Hand Drive original VW Westfalia Campervan. She is available to you pretty much as she left the factory in 1974, with the original, full Westfalia Continental Camping interior. Fully restored and in beautiful condition, she sleeps two adults and two children and will get you around Cornwall in true style.
When the roof’s popped up, you can easily stand up inside for cooking and getting changed and it also provides a small additional sleeping area. Whilst retaining all the original features, some subtle, modern facilities are also provided, including 240v mains electric hook-up and heating, an extra leisure battery and a modern Sony sound system with Bluetooth, line-in, USB and hands-free calling. There are two, modern, three-point seatbelts in the rear and an additional lap belt in the middle.
