Clean boosts are an incredibly handy tool whatever your style. Put them on a clean channel for a quick volume boost that is perfect for running your amp a little hotter and getting a bit more volume. Run into an overdriven channel and you can get a sweet gain boost that will push your rhythm sound into a screaming solo. The Iso Boost does that and a whole lot more as it is also a buffer and a signal isolator.

With the Iso Boost you get a usable range from +0db (unity) to +20db so you can really get above the mix.

This is a simple add on but it is a great tool for any rig. You never know when you will have ground loop issues. They can come from poor power at the venue, bad connections on your pedalboard or something failing. If when you do turn on your rig on stage just turn on the Iso switch and you will eliminate any and all ground loop issues between your amplifier and effects.
