However, the increasing use of digital cameras – most having sensors smaller than a 35mm film frame – has increased the demand for a high-performance standard zoom lens with a wider wide-angle setting. The new EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM lens meets this need. The optical design is based on the previous lens, but incorporates new design features that allow the broader focal length range while maintaining the superb image quality. At the same time, the minimum focusing distance has been reduced from 0.5 metres to 0.38 metres. Improved water and dust resistance ensure that it will become the leading standard zoom lens in the EOS system.

Canon EF 24-70mm F2.8 Lens


Canon EF 24-105mm F4.0L Lens was originally designed to complement Canon’s first enthusiast full-frame camera, the EOS 5D, and combines a useful standard zoom range, a constant maximum aperture, good optical quality and effective image stabilization. Optical construction includes one Super-UD glass element and three aspherical lenses to minimize chromatic aberration and distortion. The result is very good image quality, especially when stopped down a little. Canon’s ring-type USM gives silent but quick AF, along with full-time manual focus. Like Canon’s high-end DSLRs, this lens is also dust and moisture-resistant.

The K3 range is Konova’s entry-level model, designed for DSLRs and other small bodied cameras. Made from durable aluminium and steel, Konova sliders are built to last and allow users to create fluid and dynamic movements with ease.

Mounting & Levelling
The underside of the main rail features three mounting points; one in the centre and one at each end. All three positions feature both 1/4” and 3/8” threads, so mounting on a tripod or other support can be done through these industry standard connections.

Built-in to the top of the rail is a small bubble level, making the crucial levelling process far easier.

Either end of the slider, where the articulated feet attach, are further 1/4” threads, so it’s possible to mount the slider fully vertically if required.

The main carriage features a 3/8” male thread, so industry standard tripod heads, such as the Manfrotto 500AH or 502AH will attach seamlessly.
