The AKG D112 MKII Kick Drum Microphone with Flexible Mount is a studio-quality microphone designed for capturing kick drum recordings. Building on the success of the original, the MKII boasts a large-diaphragm dynamic capsule, handling up to 160dB SPL without distortion. The narrow frequency range is designed to get the best response from your kick drum. The result is solid and powerful sound, designed to cut through any mix. The D112 MKII also includes a hum-compensation coil, keeping mechanical noise to a minimum. Additionally, the microphone is also great for micing bass cabinets and trombones.

It's a classic.

This is actually a t-power model but I have a little adaptor to make it p48. Never been a problem.
