Further to this, the sound produced is unburdened by overly audible overtones and harmonics, so they perform brilliantly when recording. The solid tonewoods are finished with a darkened amber stain, and coated in a thin layer of our regular PU lacquer: thick enough to protect the timber and control the tone, but still thin enough to allow the wood to resonate as it should. StudioMaster - C3X Rackmount mixer 12ch with FX 1U rack space Stock Code: C3X INFORMATION The C3X mixer offers a total of 12 inputs in a compact 1u 19" rack mountable package. The C3X model also includes the Studiomaster custom DSP effects processor. A smaller unit that still has all the professional features you need for quality sound.    The four balanced combination XLR and jack inputs allow you to connect your microphones or line level equipment. For added flexibility two inputs are on the front and two on the rear panel. All mic pre-amps feature our studio grade design, making them ideal even if you want to use quality condenser mics, as phantom power is available.    Studiomaster EQ designs are famous for their smooth and natural response. The three band design, used on C3X, provides you with maximum control across that crucial vocal range.  Four stereo inputs offer a selection of jack and RCA/phono inputs making them perfect for most playback formats(CD, MD etc) and electronic instruments(keyboards, drum machines etc). Each input has an individual level control and the shared two band EQ gives extra dimension.    The DSP used in the C3X gives you the latest generation of crystal clear, quality delays, reverbs and effects. Studiomaster has used DSP technology for many years and during that time developed a unique blend of delay and reverb effects which have proved to be a highly popular choice of many artists. The result, 'Vocal', takes the difficulty out of choosing the best effect, dramatically enhancing a vocalist's performance. Three 'Vocal' settings are available on the C3X, along with 'room' and 'plate' reverbs. The delay mode is fully variable giving you an echo of between 10ms and 720ms, along with a 'regen' range of 0 to 90%, so you control how long it takes to die away.  The DSP can be turned on and off using the convenient front panel switch or with a foot switch, connected to the socket on the rear panel.   All inputs have access to a pair of pre and post fader auxiliary sends. The 'pre' send is ideal for creating a monitor mix which can feed stage monitors or headphones. The 'post' send feeds the DSP effects processor on the C3X, and an external effect device for even more flexibility.   The stereo output features LED metering, so you can see exactly what's going on, master level control and balanced XLR and RCA/phono connectors. Powered mixers fulfil a widespread need for simple integrated tools that remove much of the hassle involved in setting up a sound system, whether it be a permanent or temporary installation. The inclusion of amplification means that you can plug speakers straight into the mixer, without worrying about finding an external power amp. But a live mixer will also often include additional features that are usually performed by external processors - such as reverb and delay processing, or graphics EQ.
This integrated approach offers several advantages. Most importantly, the mixer and amplifier have been designed to complement each other electronically, so there&#39;s no possibility of mismatching between mixer and amp. When time is tight, setting up for a club gig, having everything in one box can mean peace of mind. There are fewer leads to unpack and connect, and fewer boxes to set up, leaving more precious minutes to soundcheck and prepare for a performance. In a permanent installation, there are advantages - a powered mixer is much more compact than separate units, saving valuable space. And if you&#39;re setting up an installation from scratch, it&#39;s easier to choose a well-designed powered mixer than to pick out several separate boxes to perform the same task.
The Spirit Powerstation offers a well-balanced combination of features for mixing live bands, or driving a variety of installed or temporary sound systems.
The Powerstation 1200 boasts a 2 x 600 Watt into 4 Ohm amplifier and 16 mic/line inputs for larger bands and venues.
The Powerstation is equipped with a specially designed Lexicon effects Unit with dual effect capability (including Chorus and Reverb, Chorus and Delay, and Reverb and Delay) and fully editable and storable programs and parameters. It has a dedicated auxiliary send for the Lexicon effects (bringing the auxiliary count up to three), a steep 18dB per octave High Pass Filter and the high performance UltraMic™ padless preamp, as well as an integral patchbay, the 2 x 7 band graphics equaliser and 40Hz subsonic filter for speaker protection.

One of the very few self-powered mixers in the market. It works with 9v Batteries and I’m including 7 of them (600mAh each) in the deal with the respective charger. I’m a busker and I’ve been using this both in London and Los Angeles, that’s why there are a few scratches. All channels and knobs work. With the 7 batteries I get 10+ hours of autonomy. (I’ve never tested what’s the actual maximum, but I know this is 100% true). I busk in Trafalgar Square so you can check it out there.
