Ideal for a variety of subjects ranging from portraiture to sports, the fast constant f/2.8 maximum aperture excels in difficult lighting conditions and also offers increased control over depth of field for isolating subjects. 

The autofocus is incredible and a definite improvement over the mark 2 version. Mush faster image stabilisation and very good in low light conditions. 

Great for any pro job that includes distance of the subject: high distance events, sports, news, fashion portraits etc. Can be used for both, photos and videos.
