This is one of my favourite lenses to film with. It's great for portraits and close up detailed shots. 

NB: FLASH DOESN'T WORK
Brilliant for video. Comes with 2x rechargeable batteries plus recharging dock, 2 x16gb SD cards, and USB cable. Lens is Canon 50mm 1.8 lens. 
The flash doesn't work well (doesn't always lift up when it's supposed to). 

Canon DSLR 1300D camera available for rent. Comes with standard lense (18-55mm) as well as my favourite - 50mm. Great for macro or portraits.
Canon is great for beginners, very intuitive and doesn't really require much changing of settings to get a good photo.
