I have only used it for that, but it has many other sounds and can be used as a midi controller. The Nord features ultra realistic piano (electric and acoustic - upright and grand), organ, string and choir sounds (as well as some random others) as well as built in effects (delays, chorus, reverb, flange and more...). The organ interface really allows one to design their sound to the nth degree. Can be used as a midi controller too.

Pickup is preferable as this is a bulky item, even though the case does have wheels, but I can be flexible depending on the nature of the rental.

A top quality, versatile instrument that can be used for both performance and recording. Has a graded hammer standard (GHS) keyboard. Includes AUX-OUT terminals that output the instrument's audio to external amplifiers/speakers, and a USB TO HOST for it to be directly connected to a computer. Loaded with 14 rhythm patterns and a variety of rich voices (see photos).
