This is the latest version of the Vario 5 which has a new vest with greater support and padding around the waist. Also has an extended support arm which allows you to position the camera further away from your body, make it more comfortable to operate, especially when using gimbals. 

In other aspects it is exactly the same as previous models and can be used with or without a gimbal attached.

The Easyrig Vario 5 has an adjustable weight range from 5-17kg (11-38 lbs).

The Easyrig Vario 5 gives you the same advantages as our other Easyrig models with the added benefit of being able to adjust the line tension to adapt to many different cameras and configurations. The Easyrig Vario 5 still delivers the same steady hand held shots while relieving strain on your back, neck and shoulders. The load is redistributed to the hips allowing you to shoot hand held in comfort for hours.  Where you are using a 16mm, 35mm & Digital cameras - It fits them all!

The Easyrig Stabil was released at NAB in 2019, for years Easyrig users have been wanting us to build something that smooths out shots when walking. The Easyrig Stabil is incorporated into the Easyrig system to make the weight distribution as even and ergonomic as possible.

The EasyTilt enables the user to tilt a gimbal with ease. It comes with a crossbar, ropes, spindles (for the gimbal). With EasyTilt you can tilt the camera as much as 90 degrees downwards and upwards.

Our Easy Rig Vario 5comes set up with the serene arm. The new gimbal rig ratchet design makes adjusting on set quicker and easier especially for skinny operators!

Small camera stabilising kit from Double Vision Accessories Ltd, allowing 5 ways to mount a camera:
- Low cam
- High cam (the tubes extend to max. 150 cm, measured from camera baseplate to the end of tube. The rods are threaded and can be screwed together)
- Shoulder cam
- Hand cam
- Monopod
The kit comes in a protecting flight case that includes tubes, camera base, screws, pins, plates and instructions. It's not meant for larger cameras - I think that cameras similar to Sony HVR-Z1 can be used well with the kit (around 2 kg).
The case weighs only 3.9 kg and measures 39cm (L) x 30cm (H) x 14cm (W).
I've tried to visualise the applications on photos although the format used by FatLama's website is not optimal to show whole images with all details.

The Easyrig Vario 5 with Standard Gimbal Rig Vest and STABIL Stabilizer is a body-worn camera stabilization system that is adjustable to support camera rigs weighing 11 to 38 lb. The system consists of a standard-size Gimbal Rig vest, a Vario 5 standard support bar, and a STABIL stabilization support arm.

The Easyrig vario 5 gives you the same advantages as our other Easyrig models with the added benefit of being able to adjust the line tension to adapt to many different cameras and configurations.

The Flowline 500N Professional Ergonomic Camera Support Vest from FLYCAM is a body-worn vest support system that is adjustable to support camera rigs weighing 10 to 12kg, although if you check the pictures it can hold good a BMPCC4k, V-lock and the Sigma 18-35, I would not put less than that to be honest. The system works by using a suspension line to support the weight of the gimbal rig, taking the load off your shoulder, neck, and arm muscles, and distributing it across your torso.

The tension line is adjustable by turning a screw on the top bar, letting you dial in the appropriate amount of tension for your rig. The system consists of the vest, a support bar, a line tightening knob, and a 20.5" top bar with a 7" support arm extension. The vest is adjustable for hip sizes from 34 to 56", and it is optimized for use with motorized gimbal stabilizers, providing increased lower back support that allows you to carry weights further away from your body. 

The quick release it is DIY but it works like a charm, please check the picture

I have also added a nice padding in the belt part for better comfort.

With an adjustment screw located on the back, the Vario 5 allows you to adjust the line tension to adapt to many different cameras and configurations. The vest allows you to deliver the same steady hand-held shots, while relieving strain on your back, neck, and shoulders. The load is redistributed to the hips, allowing you to shoot hand-held in comfort for long periods of time.

The Serene is a two axis spring arm that attaches at the end of the Easyrig arm. It stabilises vibrations and motion errors on the vertical axis that comes from walking or running with the rig. It also stabilises side to side errors in the same scenarios by counter pivoting around it’s center axis. At the same time you have full use of the Easyrig cord extension that will allow you to go from high to low mode while at the same time the Serene will take care of the vertical and side to side stabilisation adding two more stabilised axis to your existing system.
