It's just a graphic equalizer, it's just a row of frequency sliders. Which is what I thought when I first plugged this in. But start to experiment with it and you're hooked. From thin & reedy (think Nutbush City Limits) to full-fat cream, can make any guitar sound like any guitar. As a floor-pedal graphic equalizer, it takes a lot of beating.

Polyphonic pitch-shifter that can shift up to three octaves up or down or both at the same time. It's also great for chorus effects using the dry/when knob. With an expression pedal you can do some wild gliss bendy stuff. I love it.

There are very few stompboxes that have fostered lore, worship and debate like the Klon Centaur. Some might argue that no other pedal is as hallowed.
