A candy-apple red Made in Japan Tele from ca. 2012, strung with Fender .09s. Newly set up, and plays like a dream.

Beautiful 1996 Pink Paisley Telecaster, Made In Japan, and a faithful recreation of the original 1969 model on which it's based.

A lovely looker.  Famous in the hands of Elvis Presley's guitarist, chicken-picking king James Burton, and anyone from Noel Gallagher to Taylor Swift.  

Lots of vintage mojo: lovely Slim "C" neck, 3-barrel saddle bridge, Top Hat selecter switch, and "F" stamped neckplate.  Upgraded with Fender Custom Shop Texas Special pick-ups and CTS Soft Vintage Taper pots.  Sounds great.

Everything about this guitar is standard and unmodified from its 1992 build. It was the eye-catching original Metallic Blue finish that got me first. And when it comes to turf wars over whether US or Mexican Fenders are better, this one comes up trumps. Great build quality and playability - plays and sounds like a classic Telecaster.

Has a few of scratches on the underside of the body (see pictures) but not noticeable at all.

I've had this guitar for 10 years but it's only been gigged about 10 times and never gets played at home as I use a different guitar.

The jack socket is a touch loose but the electrics work totally fine. I'd suggest a touch of gaffa tape on it if it bothered you.

Produced by Fender only in 2011 & 2013 - 14, the Graham Coxon signature Telecaster. Based on his own modified 68 Telecaster, with a humbucking PAF in the neck position. Which, with the vintage single-coil by the bridge, gives this guitar lots of versatility of tone, and plenty of opportunities to recreate that Graham Coxon sound. 

In near factory-finish condition & professionally set up, a great guitar. Favourite thing for me - the rosewood fretboard. Just a personal choice, but I've always preferred the dig-in you can get with rosewood than a varnished maple fretboard. But you can be the best judge of that!

Classic Fender Jazzmaster 62 Reissue in three-tone sunburst.  Beloved of surf groups, new wave, indie and grunge bands over the years.

This is one of the first run of reissues after Fender stopped making the Jazzmaster in the US in 1980.  A Japanese Jazzmaster, built to the spec of the 1962 Jazzmaster.  An absolute beauty, with loads of lovely features: the pre-CBS headstock, the spaghetti decal, the unbound rosewood fretboard  the clay dot makers, the four-ply tortoiseshell scratchplate, the separate rhythm and lead tone circuits, and white nylon cased single-coils.

It's got everything going for it in terms of tone - all the way from soft muted jazz to biting treble.  With a tremolo that's spot on for your surf or new wave shimmer.  A hugely versatile guitar.

In fantastic condition - save a couple of very distinctive lacquer cracks.  Professionally set-up and good to go.

Classic red Fender Mustang, adored by guitarists from Jimi Hendrix to Kurt Cobain to John Frusciante to Matt Healey.  Original 1966 model in perfect working order, all set up and ready to go.

Great looks: the octagonal tuner buttons, the 7.25" rosewood fretboard, in fabulous condition for its age, the uncontoured slab body the beautiful yellowing to the pearl scratchplate, and a body back that shows how much this guitar has been loved and gigged.

Great fun to play.  The shorter scale-length makes a doddle of bends (and overbends), there's a tonne of fun to be had with switching between pick-ups and phasing, and, yes, there's all those associations with the 90s guitar gods that brought this beauty back into the limelight.

It's a vintage guitar, so there's expected wear to the body in particular.  But the neck, frets and fretboard are in great condition, all the electrics work perfectly, and it's all set up and good to go.

A good guitar.  Volume and two tone knobs. 5-way pickup switch (head missing) gives great tonal variety.  Strings are fairly old. 

Not only a fabled Pre-CBS Fender, but the first Fender that a young Jimmy James, soon to become Jimi Hendrix, is pictured with.  A shorter scale guitar marketed for the "student", not a bad place to start if you're on the way to rock legend status.

And one that, a decade later, became the favourite of the burgeoning US punk scene - Patti Smith, David Byrne, Television - and then again to later generations, including John Frusciante and Damon Albarn.

​This one may be the "student" model, but all Fenders in that pre-CBS era were built using the same materials and to the same high quality standards as their more famous cousins.  The maple neck with pencilled production date, the rosewood fingerboard and clay position markers, the alder body and 250K pots - the same wood and component choices that you'd find on same-era Stratocasters.

A fantastic piece of Fender history.  And a great player.  For a Fender of its age, not a hint of earthing buzz, great low set-up, and great tones across the three pick-up settings. 

Has the normal wear and tear you'd expect from a guitar this old - but actually in remarkably good condition for that age.

Loads to love about this guitar. The tall, narrow, high-output pickups, surrounded by notched metal rings ( or “claws”) to reduce hum, custom-built Bare Knuckles in this case. The variety of tones that come with the four-way toggle switch and brightness switches. The humbucker effect of the serial setting for the pick-ups in the toggle fourth position. The design improvements that increase the robustness of the bridge and tremolo units. All that and a huge range of sonic possibilities. A guitar that is identical to the one he plays today (with the exception of the Johnny Marr signature decal - but if you are Johnny Marr, you probably don't need that namecheck).

A guitar that Kurt Cobain not only made famous, but also designed in the first place, shortly before his untimely death - the Fender Jaguar/Mustang hybrid that became an icon across the world. 

Proposed by Kurt Cobain, using cut-up polaroid pictures of a Fender Jaguar and a Fender Mustang, annotated, prototyped, adapted, and then sent out on the road with Kurt, in Sonic Blue finish, in the year of his death. 

Fantastic range of sounds from the Fender humbucker & single-coil pick-ups. With a thin neck lending this this more of a rhythm-player's feel and ease of playing, it's the perfect guitar to recreate that unique Nirvana sound. In pretty much mint condition, professionally set up and ready to go.
