The lens is the first zoom lens ever to achieve a maximum aperture of f1.8 throughout the zoom range. It is a wide aperture, standard zoom-lens for digital single lens reflex camera's with APS-C size sensor's. The lens has a focal range equivalent to 27mm - 52.5mm in a 35mm format and it can cover the angles of view of multiple fixed focal length lenses. This wide aperture, standard zoom lens enables the photographer to expand creative possibilities on any occasion. 

With this is a Metabones Speed Booster for Nikon F(G) - Micro Four Thirds. I use this as an adapter on my Lumix GH5 for my Sigma 18-35mm art lens, which makes it incredible in low light situations. Industry's best aperture ring covers a 8-stop range, clearly indicating actual number of f-stops. No more guesswork! Compatible to both Nikkor G lens & F lens (include non-AI & AI lens mounts).

IMPORTANT: ALTHOUGH THE CAMERA DOES HAVE AUTO-FOCUS & STABILISING FUNCTIONS, THEY DO NOT WORK WITH THIS LENS AS IT IS NOT NATIVE TO THE CAMERA.

By far the most versatile camera I’ve ever used. Since it’s release, I’ve used the s5 for weddings, a couple of music videos, indoor studio/outdoor model photography and I absolutely love it. It’s got the same sensor as the £3500+ Panasonic s1h and the quality is very close to the s1h (you probably wouldn’t be able to tell them apart side to side).
