This scanner will give you amazing quality film scans - better than any lab. True 4000dpi, makes flatbed scanners like the Epson V750 look like mush.

Includes 35mm, 120 (medium format) and slide film holders. Takes a firewire connection (400 or 800, both cables supplied). Modern Macbooks have Thunderbolt instead of firewire, in that case you will need a Thunderbolt>firewire adaptor. 

You will need software to run the scanner - check that you can run either the free software Nikonscan or a full copy of Vuescan (what I use and recommend). I'll do all I can do help but in the end the software is your responsibility.

This is a reasonably heavy unit, and somewhat fragile. If you have a car I suggest you collect it in that.

This is a powerful, sturdy belt sander. The belts are really easy to change on this model. The one on there at the moment is 40grit I believe. The belt size is 75x456mm, if you have a heavy duty job (like sanding a floor) it's usually advisable to start with a low grit (eg 40-80) and work up to a higher grit (eg 150-400). I usually have a few belts, so I can them to you at 5/each in a pinch, but for a big job you're better off going to the hardware store and buying a pack of your own :)

Nimslo 3D camera. Great condition. Includes the dedicated flash if you need it. Also a strap. Amazing 3D images. Takes regular 35mm film. 

The Nishika N8000 camera is similar, but this is by far the best 3D camera.

It's usually up to you to turn the four frames into an animated gif in Photoshop if that's what you want.

2500w Arri-type HMI, equivalent power to a 10,000w Tungsten head. Daylight-white light. 

A really powerful light, and able to be carried in the back of a car (though it will take up most of the space in your boot). Includes stand, barn-doors, the fresnel focuses the spread for hard or soft light. The ballast is electronic so suitable for filming at all shutter speeds, but keep in mind that electronic ballasts produce a hum (noticeable if you are recording sound in a quiet room for example).

This is a vintage Polaroid camera that has been customised to shoot relatively inexpensive Instax Wide film. Unlike Instax cameras it has manual focus, total manual controls, and a super sharp f/3.5 lens.

It can sync with any flash, and I can provide a small flash that works well with it, if needed. This is not a point-and-shoot drunk party camera, it's a slightly more advanced camera for a photographer who wishes to create beautiful, sharp, instant film images.

This is a 4x5 large format Graflex Speed Graphic, with the famous 178mm f/2.4 Aero Ektar lens. One of the most outstanding looks produced by any sort of camera, anywhere. The lens tilts and shifts, the shutter goes up to 1/1000th of a second.

The last picture on this listing is an image I've taken with this camera, if you google 'Aero Ektar' you will find some more examples. 

If you want to test drive large format, this is an opportunity. It comes with three film holders (for total six shots of film). I can possibly also supply a polaroid film holder if you'd like to shoot 4x5 polaroid or packfilm (Fuji FP-100C type) with this camera. I can lend you a dark bag for loading/unloading film, and give you a quick lesson in this camera to get you going. 

If you don't have one, you will need a good tripod for this camera.

This Pentax 67 (newer than 6x7 or 6x7mu versions) has been recently serviced and the light meter calibrated. One amazing lens - the 105mm f/2.4. Can provide a strap.

Orbital sander, nice and light but still powerful enough for a good finish. It will have one 80 grit pad on there. If you don't have your own, I have other pads of various grits at £1 each.

Makita Reciprocating Saw. Makita is the best powertool brand, and this is one tool where that really makes a difference - this saw slices through wood and metal. Useful for quick cuts in hard to reach places, or with the sabre blade for garden work.

If you are reading this, I guess you know what you are looking for. I also require some minimal skills to operate this camera - sorry not for beginners! I shoot with this camera and want to keep it 100% precise and reliable...

The lens is a legendary Planar type - in this case Schneider equivalent Xenotar, 135 mm, f3.5 One of the most fast lenses for 4x5" and also sharp as fuck even wide open. It is mounted in compur electronic shutter, which is precise as Swiss watch, but requires a battery - this is sorted by DIY button butteries and works great. The shutter can preciselly serve time from 30m to 1/500s, all synced with flash if you require. Please note that just this lens is very rare and costs easily £600-1000...

The camera offers basic tilt and shift options and focusing with rangefinder. There is a cam 135mm, but if you want to be 100% precise for low fstops, I suggest to focus on the ground glass which has fresnel one and it is very easy to do so.

# before rental I give you 20mins induction how to operate the camera, lens and film holders, however you are expected to be reasonable experienced in operating old film cameras!
# the gear must not be used under severe conditions like rain or wind (the risk of fall on the ground)
# you must mount the camera on the safe and suitable tripod - minimum Manfrotto 055 serier or similar. If you don´t have any, we have a budget option of aluminium one or fancy carbon tripod.
# I can´t guarantee that you will get 100% technically perfect results. This requires a very good knowledge of large format camera operation and principles.
# I recommend to always use a dark cloth when shotting to prevent a light leakage - please bear in mind that old gear may not be 100% light tight when on a bright sun.

Mamiya RZ67 PRO II Kit, 1 Film Back, 65mm, 110mm, hand grip, prism finder, polaroid back, original box if want to buy camera bag for rent.

Super8 camera with auto zoom function and built in light meter.             This was a Super 8 version of the Single 8 518 SV developed at the same time. Performance was improved significantly from the preceding model, the Auto Zoom 518 Super 8, thanks to a powerful Servo EE mechanism and a new optical system.

This new model was made more useful by employing the drop-in method for the film-loading mechanism and a firm fixed grip. Fade in/out became possible because the aperture could be completely closed via a manual aperture control.
