This converter takes phantom power over XLR and drops it to powered mic level, for lavalier mics, over 3.5mm TRRS. 

It's the perfect accompaniment to the Rode SmartLav+ I have listed too, which is a lavalier mic that works directly with your smartphone. But if you want to use the SmartLav+ (or other powered lavalier mic) with your audio interface, you'll need to give it some power, and convert the connection - this is what this item is designed to do.

This is a digital audio recorder with built in stereo microphones. It is extremely easy to use even for complete beginners! It has different modes, so you can go fully manual or just press record in Smart mode. It will give you an instant improvement over built-in camera sound.

Zoom are the go-to name for audio recorders, but I really prefer Olympus ones because they sound a lot better and are much easier to use. They have a whisper quiet noise floor, so you don't get much hiss, (as long as you set the record level right!). 

Records at different qualities including 96kHz 24-bit, 48kHz 16-bit, and even mp3s. 

A quality 16GB SD card is included, this will give you 23 hours of recording time at 48kHz! 

2x AA rechargeable batteries are included, and are supplied fully charged - however please keep some spare AAs on hand as well. They do last several hours but it depends on what you're doing. 

As well as the built in mics, you can plug in a lavalier mic or a line-in. These are 3.5mm mini-jack - the same as the headphone port on most smartphones.
I've used this to record DJ sets and live gigs, straight out of the mixer. 

I also have a Rode lavalier mic I can hire you as well if you need it - not on Fat Lama yet. I can include a mini jack to phono cable if needed (free of charge).

There is a built in speaker to check your recording quickly, and a tripod mount built in so you can put it on a tripod with the standard mount.

The Hummingbird is an incredible sounding microphone with tons of clarity, as well as the ability to rotate the capsule through 180 degrees - helping you place this mic in the perfect position! 

This brilliant design means that your positioning is never constrained by the body of the mic and the cable, unlike other microphones! This is a great drone with production quality output. The image quality is great because of the large resolution and cinema style looks. Options to shoot at 4K at 60FPS! This kit comes with:
