Sony a7Rii camera converted to full spectrum infrared.  A7R2

For false colour and IR pass 590nm:
1) see church picture: 590nm followed by simple task of channel swapping in Photoshop.

2) the swimming pool pictures show the JPEG out of the camera without any post work - it has a lot of red, as normal.  With the necessary channel swapping in Photoshop, we get the blue sky (also reflected in the water of the pool) and white foliage. Image taken with 55mm lens at f 9.0 (SEL55F18Z) which I also rent and is one of the best I have for IR even at high f stop. 

3) The picture with the city, the water and the trees is using 590nm filter, and then swapping channels Red into Blue and viceversa, with some Green into the Red.  This gives pink foliage. Again, it's more art than science!

Good lenses are:
- 55mm lens at f 9.0 (SEL55F18Z) 
- Other good lenses of mine are the 1635 f4.  Other lenses may NEED f stop not higher than f/7.0 or so otherwise hot spot starts appearing. This is normally not a problem as you'd want a wide f stop, unless you are trying to do landscape with a high level of detail at all distances, or with low light - but then why would you use IR in those cases?

I will also provide one clip on filter for the sensor, so that NO EXTRA filters will be needed, so  the camera will work right away with any of your lenses, with no need for additional filters on the lens. Very easy!

You can choose one of these clip on filters:
IR pass 850nm (excellent for B&W, very dark skies and very light foliage - but no false colour at all)
IR pass 720nm (excellent for B&W, probably the best wavelength compromise for B&W between Contrast and Exposure.)
IR pass 590nm (excellent for False Colour " Goldie"  and "Blue Sky" effects, very good for black and white)
Each additional filter for only 2 pounds a day.

Alternatively, with the camera you can rent the IR Chrome filter in own of my other listings, for which I will give you a 50%  discount!)

The a7 MKIII also includes improved AF speed, precision and tracking performance. 693 phase-detection AF points and up to 10 frames per second shooting. The ISO can be extended to an amazing 50 to 204800 (stills) and the new battery allows shooting of up to approximately 710 photos. 4K video is also included along with improved Fast Hybrid AF for movie recording. I love this camera for its best in class video performance and excellent all-round application for stills.
