This is a beautiful, bright sounding guitar with a low action. This is one of the original hand-built Takamine guitars (not a factory built G/EG series). It is a dreadnought style guitar with a solid cedar top and mahogany back, sides and neck. The fingerboard and bridge are rosewood. It has a bridge pickup and EQ control. 

A classic electro-acoustic guitar that has got consistently excellent reviews.

Comes with a Takamine guitar case and tuner.

If ever you've wanted to play a resonator guitar, this is the one for you. An original 1934 National Style O Resonator. 85 years old and in excellent condition. 

This one's an absolute beauty - scarcely believable that it's been around for more than 85 years. Classic nickel on brass build, ebony neck, single-cone resonator - and that sound. Hawaiian, bluegrass, blues, fingerpicking, straight chords, regular or open tunings - it's utterly unique, and utterly magic. 

And it's perfect for an Open G tuning, a capo on the third fret, and your own take on Dire Straits' Romeo & Juliet. Sounds great. Big, resonant, with that touch of metallic tone that sets the resonator apart from any other acoustic. If you've never played a resonator before, this is a great place to start!

A lovely travel guitar - the smallest Martin body available, with a slightly shorter than average scale (and therefore neck length). Great for noodling around in your front room - or entertaining 70,000 solo at Wembley Stadium. 

Soundwise, you've heard it a hundred times, in the hands of Ed Sheeran. It's got a great balanced tonal range from bottom to top - and it's got volume well beyond expectation. In perfect condition and a lovely guitar to play.

My first 12-string acoustic, bought in the 90s, and with it ever since. If you've always thought you've wanted to try out a 12-string, then this is the one for you. 

Lovely build quality, uses quality rosewood, spruce and mahogany woods to give you all the sparkle and resonance you'd expect from a higher-end guitar. Big-bodied for a full sound, nice low action, stays in tune (which is often a challenge for a 12-string). 

In very good condition, with only a few small dents and very light playwear. Lovely player!

The "king of the flat-tops". Played by anyone from Elvis Presley through to Alex Turner, and pretty much anyone in between. A beautiful 1993 Gibson J-200 in classic dark sunburst. 

Built in Gibson's famous Bozeman Montana plant, for sale in Gibson's 100th Anniversary celebration year. This one has everything you'd want from a J-200. That beautiful sunburst, the hand-inlaid mother-of-pearl crowns, the gold hardware, the characteristic moustache bridge and inlaid pickguard. 

It's aged well beyond the 25+ years it's been around, and sounds all the better for it. The tone and projection of this guitar is just amazing. Whether that's the quality of the original design and build, the effect of the ageing, or a mix of the two, this guitar just sings. New, these will set you back £4000+, so definitely worth a test run first!

Owned since new, a beautifully hand-built guitar from Yamaha's Custom Shop in Japan. Has a super-thin satin-finished neck, it's a delight to play. But it's the crystal-clear sound of this guitar that really makes it stand out. It's hard to find a guitar that plays and sounds this good for anything under £1000 - but this one does, and it can rival the depth and clarity of anything above that price-mark. It's also the exactly the same model that Gaz Coombes (Supergrass & solo) turns to as his main acoustic. I have no claims to Gaz Coombes' heady heights, but this has been my favourite acoustic ever since I bought it.

Headstock, hardware, fretboard, neck & body in very good condition for age, with the exception of a set of "wear & tear" nicks & dents on the body top. None of which affects how this guitar plays & sounds. A lot of work has gone into making this guitar look very special, and a lot of work into making it sound very special. Work which has definitely paid off. Do a blind sound test against a higher priced brand - chances are, you'll pick the LA-8.

Lovely Fender parlour guitar in butterscotch finish.  A signature model for Ron Emory, guitarist with Californian punk band TSOL (True Sounds Of Liberty), but obviously having a quieter side to him.  Just fantastic to look at, a work of real craftsmanship, and tone and projection way beyond its smaller body.  Perfect picker for the parlour. 

Barely a scratch or nick, in excellent condition, and in hard case.
