The amp has two blendable channels feature fully variable tremolo, a custom EQ switch on the Top Boost channel, and Brilliant switch on the normal channel. The spring reverb has a dwell switch and tone control, plus an effects loop with full bypass and level control give you precision command over a broad range of sounds. Further features include switchable cathode bias for lower power and longer tube life plus switchable smoothing filter values for looser or tighter feel. The amp has a baltic birch cab and vintage-style transformers.

The amp has a pair of Wharfedale 12" speakers, and the faceplate is quite clean with its full compliment of chicken head knobs. 

Based on the famous 1970's range made known by John Entwhistle, now used by countless touring bands such as Coldplay, The Hives, Supergrass and Franz Ferdinand. Completely made by hand, point to point wiring and construction, these are the real deal in British bass amplifiers.

Good condition rack-mountable Tube/Solid-State hybrid 600 watt head, works perfectly. Dates from mid 1990s(approx) pre-Peavey era. Rivals Ampeg SVT as one of the best bass amps ever made. 
Amazing range of vintage to modern bass tones available due to variety of controls on front and rear panels especially the 12-band graphic equaliser. 
It has a built in crossover - you can run one side to a sub and the other side to the mid/high. 
It's just a case of setting the white push switches on the back. 
Can run up to 2 x 4 ohm (or 4x 8 ohm) speaker cabs because it's basically 2 x 300 watt amplifiers in one box. 
Routine service done by Trace Elliot about 5 years ago (no faults - it just needed a general clean-up).

250 Watt 15" Bass Combo Amplifier with Dual TonePrint Effects and Integrated Tuner

2010 Peavey MAX 115 Bass Amp. Hugely versatile 60W bass amp, with 3-way EQ voicing option. 

The only bass combo I planned to buy - so I spent some time getting the one I liked the most! The version before the current range of MAX amps - and a great variety of sounds. Peavey have loaded this with some lovely EQ presets, and their own TransTube technology to recreate the warmth of a valve amp. So, anything from modern high-clip bass to booming sixties throb. A great amp in a small (if still reassuringly weighty!) package. 

Comes with a custom-voiced 15" speaker (an option you don't get with the current run of MAX combos until you go for the 250W version). I know technology's come a long way, but there's still something that just feels right about a 15" speaker (or more) in a bass cab.  

Great bass response on this one. Lots of clarity at the lowest end, and, with the Modern EQ setting, plenty of punch to add across the range. 

All with a nice simple control panel - and the Effects Loop Send/Return for the post-EQ sonic enhancement of your choice.  

In near perfect condition with barely a dent or scratch.
