This sharp and beautiful zoom lens has a constant aperture of F1.8 on APSC cameras, but combined with the Viltrox adaptor this becomes an incredible F1.2 on MFT cameras like the GH5/S.

The Viltrox adaptor keeps all the auto functions communicating between camera and lens and allows another full stop of light in. You can use this with a range of other Canon EF lenses.

Combine these with the GH5 for steady handheld, cinematic video magic or the GH5S for ultra low light filming.

The lens could also be combined with the S1H & Sigma MC-21 adaptor (listed separately) for the best of both worlds, filming steady handheld, ultra low-light footage in Super35 mode.

The maximum aperture of F3.5 is ideal for indoor shooting and it enables photographers to emphasize the subject. Two ELD (Extraordinary Low Dispersion) glass elements and a SLD (Special Low Dispersion) glass element provide excellent correction of color aberration. Four aspherical lenses provide correction for distortion and allow compact and lightweight construction. The Super Multi-Layer coating reduces flare and ghosting. High image quality is assured throughout the entire zoom range. The incorporation of HSM (Hyper-Sonic Motor) ensures a quiet and high-speed auto focus as well as full-time manual focusing capability. This lens has a minimum focusing distance of 9.4 inches (24cm) throughout the entire zoom range and a maximum magnification ratio of 1:6.6. The lens design incorporates an inner focusing system which eliminates front lens rotation, making the lens particularly suitable for using the Petal-type hood and polarizing filter. Very sharp standard 50mm prime lens for Nikon mirrorless systems

My favourite 50mm lens. I have adapters that allow this Nikon lense to be used with EF and MFT cameras.
The fastest Nikon lens available, it works well wide open and at f/2, this f/1.2 lens is operating at almost peak sharpness and has no focus shift.
