These useful clamps can be put to multiple uses round the studio, they fit to most standard light stands and can be used to hold boom arms in place.

The double clamp allows you to attach a boom arm or any other type of lighting accessory to the frame of your light stand instead of the top stud/spigot, this means you are still able to use the top stud/spigot of your light stand to attach any other lights or accessories you want.

The Crush-10 is a single channel 10w solid-state combo amp, with three separate equalization controls, (low, mid, high), a master volume control, and two separate gain controls. It also has a headphone output jack, which mutes the speaker when the headphones are plugged in. I bought this little amp mainly for practicing, and for that duty, it is very well suited. I suppose you could mike it if you really liked the sound that much – but for me, it is just an “office” unit – I got sick of hauling my big amp upstairs just to monkey around on the guitar a bit. The amp’s sound controls are easy to figure out and easy to adjust. The esthetics of the unit are hard to resist – cool orange case, vintage-style grill covering, Orange medallion. Best part of all is the amp lives up to its legendary heritage. The sounds you can procure from this little rig are downright amazing. When I started playing I had a Peavey Decade 10 practice amp, which compared to this Orange amp, sounded like a cheesy AM transistor radio. My, things have certainly come a long way.

You can't go wrong with this Vintage six strings bass guitar, the sound it produces is so you unique to bass guitars made in its era, and the onboard equalizer is excellent for dialing into the exact tone you want to.

Your photos might look great on your computer, but chances are that if you haven’t calibrated your display then you’re not getting an accurate version of the image. In the same way that TV manufacturers dial up the visual drama when their TVs are on display in the store, many computer displays come out of the box too bright, too cool, and too contrasty. The results can look dramatic, but it’s not especially helpful if you’re trying to use an accurate monitor when viewing or editing your photos.

Using a colorimeter takes the subjectivity out of it by working by the numbers. It measures the light coming off your monitor to make sure that gray is pure gray, that red is pure red, and that the millions of other colors your display can output match up to the objective light readings. By measuring what it sees and comparing it with the raw numbers, calibration software can create a custom profile for your display that compensates for its quirks and deficiencies. The result is that what you see on your screen is objectively as close as possible to the actual data in your photo.
