Canon 16-35mm F2.8 L II
The EF 16-35mm f/2.8L II USM is a high performance, water-resistant, and ultra wide-angle Canon L-series lens. It has been specifically designed for improved edge-to-edge image quality that will meet the strict requirements of professional and high-end amateur photographers. It features 3 high-precision aspherical lens elements, each of a different type: ground, replica and GMo for even better image quality than the original EF 16-35mm f/2.8L USM. The circular aperture produces a beautiful and natural background blur when shooting at wider apertures. Other features include internal focusing, a ring type USM (Ultra Sonic Motor), and new AF algorithms for fast and quiet autofocusing.

The Canon EF 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM was announced a year ago, in February 2012, as an update to the venerable EF 24-70mm f/2.8L USM of 2002. It features an all-new optical design, designed to provide improved imaging performance right across the frame and reduced distortion compared to its predecessor. The lens also features a smaller, lighter design and weather-sealed construction, and Canon promises improved robustness due to revised internal construction. It's designed primarily for Canon's high-end full frame bodies (with a price tag to match), but can of course also be used on APS-C SLRs such as the EOS 7D, on which it offers a 38-112mm equivalent angle of view.

The 24-70mm f/2.8 II is intended to be a workhorse lens for professional photographers that has to deliver the best possible results in a wide range of conditions. It uses a suitably exotic optical design for this purpose, with 18 elements in 13 groups, including two 2 ultra-low dispersion (UD) glass elements and one Super UD aspheric element to minimize aberrations. Naturally it uses Canon's ring-type ultrasonic motor for fast, silent focus with full-time manual override, along with a circular aperture diaphragm for attractive background blur.

One feature the lens doesn't offer, though, is image stabilization - Canon says this would require too great a compromise in either image quality or size. This makes for an interesting comparison with the Tamron SP 24-70mm F/2.8 Di VC USD that was announced at about the same time, and incorporates image stabilization into a lens that's almost exactly the same size (and of course, rather cheaper). Users who need IS and prefer to stick with Canon's own lenses will have to make to with a stop slower aperture, from either the EF 24-70mm f/4L IS USM or the EF 24-105mm f/4L IS USM. In this review we'll compare how all of these lenses measure up against each other in the lab, and assess the 24-70mm f/2.8L II USM's specific strengths and weaknesses.

The Upgraded EOS C100 Digital Video Camera that offers an autofocus mode to help ensure sharp focus and smooth focus transitions. The upgrade provides a new Continuous AF (Autofocus) Function for all autofocus Lenses, using Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology. 

A new AF Lock setting also lets you change the image framing while holding the desired focus. These critical focusing capabilities are designed to help reduce out of focus video while providing for smooth focus transitions and assist users when operating with small crews

The EOS C100 camera with Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology features a CMOS sensor that consists of an array of pixels that each feature two separate photodiodes. By continuously comparing their outputs during AF mode, phase-difference autofocus helps ensure non-blurred images and smooth focus transitions even when the talent and/or camera are moving. The new feature places a high priority on maintaining sharp focus while, providing a natural, smooth autofocus movement with select Canon EF lenses – including newer-generation STM lenses – which offer even smoother and quieter operation.

After this modification, the EOS C100 camera's Continuous AF function active area represents 20% of the image vertically and 25% horizontally, yielding a very large, centrally located autofocus zone. The AF lock mode allows you to set focus and hold it, allowing you to change framing while maintaining the original point of focus.

A modified EOS C100 camera's set-up menu offers two options for “AF Mode” – One-Shot AF and Continuous Autofocus. The AF Lock function can optionally be set to one of the camera's assignable buttons. During shooting, you simply press this button to lock the focus preventing the camera from refocusing, and then press it again to re-enable continuous AF.
The Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology helps provide smooth and consistent autofocus, so that focus transitions are natural looking and that subjects can remain focused even as they move. The compatibility of Dual Pixel CMOS AF with Canon EF autofocus lenses combines outstanding optical tools with a wide range of creative options.

By using the Contrast AF system to supplement the EOS C100 camera's new Dual Pixel CMOS AF the camera can determine which direction to initially drive the lens helping to result in reduced focused hunting.
The combination of Contrast AF and Dual Pixel CMOS AF helps ensure that the EOS C100 camera's autofocus system initially drives the lens in the correct direction resulting in faster focus up acquisition. The upgraded EOS C100 camera will focus twice as fast as an unmodified camera, with a more natural look with no focus overshooting. Because the current One-Shot AF mode uses only Contrast AF, movements can sometimes be jerky with overshoot errors.

The EOS C300 Mark II Digital Cinema Camera integrates a re-designed imaging system of advanced components. These include a newly developed 8.85 Megapixel Canon Super 35mm 16:9 CMOS image sensor that supports up to 4K (DCI) recording with a maximum resolution of 4096 x 2160 pixels and a high-speed readout for reduced rolling-shutter distortion. Working in concert with its dual Canon DIGIC DV5 image processors, data from the 4K sensor delivers Over-Sampling HD Processing for reduced-moiré 2K(DCI)/Full 1080-60p HD recording and Dual-Pixel CMOS Auto Focus with an expanded focusing area and Face Detection (in combination with Canon EF lenses). What is the difference between Canon 5DS and Canon 5DS-R?
The key difference between both the 2 cameras is that the Canon 5DS-R introduces another low pass filter to cancel the effect of the first low pass filter. This is called the Low Pass Filter (LPF) Cancellation Effect. This will reduce the incidence of false color. This feature is not available with the Canon 5DS model which adds a little bit of blur to its photos.
This filter is located just behind the IR filter. It realigns original pixels that were shifted by the first filter and in turn, provides us with a sharper high-quality image even further without blur. For photographers who need a sharp, crisp images such as the landscape photographers and fine art photographers, this camera is the relevant choice.

Joker Bug 1600 Beamer Kit  The Joker 1600 Beamer includes an 8” specular reflector and a set of 4 traditional PAR 64 lenses – Medium, Wide, Super-Wide and a Frosted Fresnel.  These lenses provide varying light patterns from 5 to 45 degrees and a maximum output due to the reflector finish.

The Joker-Bug 400 combines the characteristics of the BUG-LITE 400, a 400 Watt daylight HMI system without optics, with those of the JOKER 400, a PAR 46 fixture using a specular parabolic reflector and a set of 4 lenses. The JOKER-BUG 400 is comparable to a 1500/2000Wquartz fixture but with a power draw of only 5.5 Amps.
In the Bug-Lite mode (no optics) the main application is in traditional Lightbanks as well as Lanterns where it uses the sides as a large reflector, collecting the maximum output of the lamp and filling the front screen very evenly. It is very powerful in daylight interiors and can operate in any position including pointing straight down.

The BEAMER optical accessory turns the BUG-LITE into a JOKER-BUG, a directional PAR unit offering various beam patterns through quick lens changes. The JOKER-BUG 400 offers the most flexible optical configuration for location lighting by achieving Spot to Flood ratios of 80 to 1 with beam angles from as narrow as 5 degrees to as wide as 55 degrees.

The Kessler CineSlider™ is a heavy duty portable mini-dolly / linear slider system for camera rigs weighing up to 80 pounds. Weighing in at only 10 pounds, with a length of 40.5 inches, 5 inches wide, and a total camera travel distance or 35.5 inches, the CineSlider is a very portable solution to get those quick, smooth short-run dolly movements, without having to transport a large dolly system. Features include drag control and locking, handle with adjustable arc diameter for ultimate movement control, smooth rolling precision stainless steel ball bearing Delrin wheels, and multple mounting options.
The CineSlider™ can be center mounted flush to the Kessler Hercules 2.0 head to achieve panning and tilting movements, center mounted to a 100mm bowl tripod with the optional 100mm Ball Mount Kit, or support from both ends with a combination of a standard tripod / fluid head or lightstand or monopod.
