The strength of this adapter is not it's focusing abilities, but in the added bonuses it brings as an alternative to the MetaBones adapter. The Aputure DEC Wireless Focus System for Canon EF to Sony E-mount cameras such as FS7, FS5 and A7 series provides remote aperture and start/stop functions to lens adapter in addition to focus. The focus system does not compare to a true wireless follow focus system, but is more than adequate for remote cameras that need focus adjustment between shots.
