PLEASE NOTE: the locking knob is not a friction adjustment (trying to use it in this way will result in jittery movement), nor is it designed to lock the camera in position. It's a travel lock that can be used to hold the dolly in position, with the slider level, whilst you make adjustments to the camera. Nip it up by hand only, DO NOT OVER TIGHTEN. Payload limit 4 kg when supporting both ends of the slider, anything more than roughly 1 kg will cause the slider to flex and ruin your smooth slides when supporting via the central base plate only .
