Rugged aluminium chassis is very nice and
although the new design is  a bit 'marmite' It actually makes a lot of sense...The symmetry is perfect for hotshoe mounting on a DSLR or mirrorless camera.

It has an OLED display with a simple & intuitive menu system and the design makes for everything being a bit more low profile on either your camera rig or Monitor station.

The MARS 400S PRO uses 5G wireless transmission technology. 

It comes with 400ft line of sight wireless video and audio transmission and ultra-low latency wireless video transmission of 0.08s transmitting to 1 or 2 receivers. 

This is actually a very respectable latency figure and will be perfect for most scenarios. However, if you absolutely must have minimal latency (for eg. follow focus) then you will probably still want to go with either the Teradek Bolt (SDI) or Amimon Connex (HDMI) in my other listings.


It also supports 2  monitoring APPs when connected with1 receiver. So two other people on set can simultaneously monitor the cameras output on their phones or tablets. A very useful feature.

The unit supports up to 1080P 60Hz image resolution and both transmitter and receiver are equipped with L-series NPF type battery plate. 
They can also be powered by DC adapter or USB-C interface. 

The new 400S PRO has also raised the bitrate of the stream from 8Mbps on earlier versions to 12Mbps on the PRO providing higher definition for video monitoring.

Both units feature integrated cold shoe mounts with 1/4-20 thread for various mounting options.

There is now also a silent mode for the cooling fan. You have the option to turn the fan completely off or switch it to low speed. Alternatively yo can select auto and let the system decide whether it needs to be cooled down.

The MARS 400S PRO also features a direct live stream data feature. You can use the video feed straight out of the RX for live streaming on OBS, vMix, or VLC with a PC. You will an additional USB-C to RJ45 receiver adaptor and RJ45 to RJ45 cable (not included) if you wish to use this feature.

Originally designed for use with a number of DJI gimbals but can in fact be used with any camera with an HDMI output to transmit extremely low latency images to any Phone or Tablet using the DJI Ronin app.
