This is the samyang premium xp range where they go all out to make the sharpest lens they can. 
This is a portrait lens to get that super smooth bokeh. FOR CANON EF. I use it on my a7r2 with a  adaptor. Manual focus only.
You can make your shots look very professional although there is a slight learning curve if new to manual focus prime lenses with super shallow depth of field.

There is minimal CA or coma. There is moderate vignetting although I like this effect and always leave any software lens correction off.

I once visited the Zeiss booth at a photography show and left this lens on their desk whilst trying out their milvus and otus equivalent... when I swapped back to this lens and wanted to walk away, they accused me of wanting to steal their lens. Me and the salesman didn't realise how similar they look and feel. The optics is no slouch either and when I went home that day to pixel peep at my 42mp raw files,  I couldn't tell much of a difference. 

I've used it in so many scenarios other than obvious dreamy portrait sessions. Additional uses include landscapes (esp at night!), indoor/night shots if using natural light, wildlife and videos. I included some sample pictures all taken with this lens and a7rii body pairing (5d mk iv equivalent). The nightscapes (pic 3 & 4) were taken in pitch black darkness (new moon 1am in dark sky area - was doing some astrophotography). This lens can see in the dark.
 
This doesn't work too well for sports or where there is alot of movement since the manual focus ring is very fine... I think 2.5 full turns... and the DOF is very shallow if using f1.2. I do it anyway as I love the effect of the lens and like a challenge! 

If renting, please note that this is an object of precision which is pretty heavy glass, so please handle with care.
