This device allows for recording of up to 2 devices at once and interfaces with a computer to record (ex using Audacity program). The front has two quarter inch inputs and the rear has two XLR inputs for a microphone. So, either 1 instrument and 1 microphone or 2 instruments or 2 microphones are possible to record on this device. Simply plug in the USB cable (included with rental) and the focusrite driver should automatically download.
