This is made possible by the use of two aspherical lens elements, including one extreme aspherical (XA) type with a 0.01-micron surface precision. These elements effectively control distance-related aberrations, ensuring outstanding resolution across the entire image area. Additionally, the lens features two spherical elements using ED (Extra-low Dispersion) glass and Super ED glass, which significantly reduce chromatic aberration for sharp reproduction without color bleeding. An ED aspherical element is also utilized to suppress both chromatic and spherical aberrations commonly found in telephoto lenses.
