Description
Probably the most famous short-scale guitar in the world, the Rickenbacker 325 that John Lennon made famous throughout the early to mid-60s with The Beatles. When he wasn't playing an acoustic, it was almost always one of his two Rickenbacker 325s. This one is the 325 V63, from the first run of vintage recreations that Rickenbacker launched in 1984 - and based on the 325 they handed Lennon when The Beatles led the British Invasion of the US in 1964.. Three pick-ups, Ac'cent tremolo, short 21" scale, nice narrow neck - plus that classic Rickenbacker tone. You don't have to be a Beatles' fan to love this guitar - John Fogerty from Creedence Clearwater Revival and Susannah Hoffs from The Bangles made the 325 their own too - but I suppose it helps! In truly great condition for its age, with barely a mark. Plays really easily. Sounds the business. Rental includes hard case.
