These shotgun mics are solid performers, great for use in outdoor settings by virtue of the included fluffy windshield and shock mount. They also have flexible power options, by either a single AA battery or phantom power. We primarily use these Boya 6060s for ambient sound at outdoor venues, and we've been pleasantly surprised at their performance and reliability. We've also found them to be usable for ENG interviews in a pinch.
