Imagine an improved 5D Mk IV in a more compact mirrorless design with the latest Digic 8 processor and a slew of exciting new features, that's Canons EOS-R in a nutshell. It features the all new canon RF mount but is also backwards compatible with every EF mount lens available using the included Canon adaptor. 1) It's got a great design and has a real premium air to it, I’ve got lots of Sony cams and none of them are like this. The EOS R looks and feels great, fantastic grip. It makes you want to pick it up and use it. 2- Stunning EVF not to mention a class leading menu system with huge customisation options and a way superior touch screen experience. The touch screen also articulates and rotates... ideal for gimbal use or Vlogging. 3)The EOS R takes Canon's Dual Pixel CMOS AF technology to a whole new level by introducing no fewer than 5,565 phase detect points! This for me is the EOS R's standout feature along with that fantastic MF assist guide. 4)Automated shutter drop down which protects the sensor from dust/debris ingress when swapping lenses. I can’t think why any other camera manufacturer hasn't implemented this type of simple feature before. 5) Absolutely stunning 1080p + HDR out of the box, Canon colour science and 4K at 480Mbbps + 10 bit 4:2:2 HDMI output for broadcast spec codecs. The incredibly easy to grade C Log is also implemented. 6) The new RF mount enables the possibility of stunning new lens designs with control rings (for mapping different camera functions) You can even set the focus rings sensitivity! The new Red Komodo camera also implements the exact same RF mount. The inc adaptor provides backwards compatibility with all EF and EF-S lenses. Supplied with the new RF mount 24-105 F/4-7.1 IS STM lens, 2 batteries, EF mount adaptor, Smallrig cage +128GB V60 SD card & carry case.
