Description
Carcassonne has become the quintessential tile and worker placement game of modern board games and remains one of the best introductions to the hobby. Fast paced and fiendishly strategic, players take it in turns to add tiles to the existing tapestry to complete various scenic features such as roads, cities, cloisters or fields. Each player also has a number of meeples (playing pieces) that can be placed during their turn on a particular feature in order to gain victory points, with scoring depending on which type of feature the meeple is placed. The victor is the person with the most victory points once the last tile is played. Suitable for 2 - 5 players, aged 7+. An average game of Carcassonne should take less than 45 minutes.
