High Volume Low Pressure - HVLP - Sprayer This is an excellent unit, they are expensive, basically it turns out that blowing high volumes of air is hard and requires very high-end precision engineering - do not be fooled by youtube / amazon ads for cheap hand held devices. They can't achieve a perfect finish. This is ideal for spraying oil based paints or stains onto wood / metal or finishes onto your projects. Makes easy work of spraying fences / sheds / decks! I'm pretty sure you could spray a bike or a car as well. It's not for spraying emulsion onto walls - you need an airless sprayer for that. I got excellent results spraying cast iron radiators with oil based paint. Also sprays BIN primer very nicely. You can change the needle if you want, it's fitted with a medium one at present. Very easy to clean, just spray meths or white spirit through the gun into a bin liner.
