PANASONIC LUMIX S 50MM F/1.8 LENS SUMMARY The L-mount lens range continues to grow with this Lumix S 50mm f/1.8 lens, which has been designed by Panasonic as one of four common-sized optics for L-mount mirrorless cameras. Weighing in at just 300g. the 50mm standard prime is well suited to a wide range of subjects from portraits to landscapes, general purpose shooting and also excels for video. Lumix full frame lenses feature complex optics to ensure high quality results, with a mechanism that suppresses focus breathing off videographers. Smooth exposure changes can also be made with a micro-step aperture control, maintaining professional quality video for which Panasonic cameras are known.
