I've taken it on several very long trips, each of over 2000km across Europe, at sustained speeds of up to 95mph / 150kmh in Germany without any issues. Even at this speed it's quiet and doesn't affect handling of the car. As you can see from the pictures, it is very large, and easily fits full length skis and boots, large suitcases, and 9 year old boys!
