Perfect for digging deep fence post holes, clearing debris out of existing holes, cutting roots, etc. I used this in conjunction with my Wolf 52cc Petrol Earth Auger to erect my 6ft fence The beauty of this tool vs other "shuv" style tools is that it has a double hinge, so you push the handles inwards to grip the earth. This allows the tool to go deeper in the hole without fouling on the handles - other shuvs require you to pull the handles away from each other which gets harder the deeper you go.
