Samyang USB Lens Station for Sony E mount. This allows you to update the firmware of your lens, change the manual focus speed/sensitivity and for more advanced users, make adjustments to the autofocus. Unless you know what you are doing I would avoid that one! The main use is for the firmware upgrade, which can make a significant improvement to the auto focus speed and accuracy if your lens has older firmware on it. Samyang have done a great job of addressing some of the minor niggles with their lenses, but unless you update the firmware you can't take advantage of these improvements. It's difficult to justify the purchase of the dock for a minute or two of usage to do the firmware, which is why I thought I would buy one and rent it out to recoup my costs and help others who don't want to buy one for a single use either! Included is the Lens Station, a usb cable and a small hard case to keep them safe in the post. The daily rental price is for local rental where shipping is not needed. The weekly rental price includes postage to you (UK only), however you will need to pay the shipping back to me. This will cost £4 for second class recorded delivery with Royal Mail. You can ship it however you want, but it must be tracked and have insurance to cover it's cost (which second class recorded does). Thanks Dave

Cancellation Terms

In case of cancellation 2 days before the rental period, 100% of the rental amount is refunded. If canceled one day before the rental period, 50% of the rental amount is refunded. If you cancel the same day the rental period starts, no refund is made. Read more
